Preparing Your 2025 HR Strategy & Action Plan: Navigating Emerging Trends

As we start to think about our 2025 HR strategy, understanding and strategically aligning with emerging trends is critical to ensure success in HR. In this workshop, we will dissect some of the key trends, such as technology disruption, HR purpose/EVP, employee experience that are impacting HR and explore how we can incorporate them into our HR strategic planning.

This workshop will help participants in developing a playbook trends that encompasses and concrete actions to stay up to date with what's impacting how our organisations while formulating concrete actions to capitalise on the opportunities they bring.

The session will start with a summary of the morning's Lightbulb session and the introduction of a new trend before participants analyse which trends are most relevant for them, share their experience on this trend with other workshop members, and formulate a response.

Participants will gain insights into:

  • Which trends are impacting their organisations. Understand the specific trends influencing employees, organisations, and HR policy and how these trends correlate with broader industry and societal shifts.

  • Analyse the risks and opportunities these trends bring. Dive deeper into the implications of each trend, assessing potential risks and identifying opportunities that could be leveraged for strategic advantage.

  • How HR leaders can prepare for these trends. Explore strategies to adapt to these changes effectively, including workforce planning, skill development, and technological integration.

  • Capitalise on these trends to deliver value to the organisation. Discuss ways to transform insights into action, focusing on creating strategic initiatives that align with organisational goals and enhance overall performance.
